		<description>I recently ordered a harness for my Chrysler 300. The shipping time was quite lengthy for delivery from Texas to Las Vegas, but OK! Once I received the harness, the original packaging had been opened and one of the wires was missing.  I called customer service and was told to call back 45 minutes later to speak to shipping. When I called the second time and asked for shipping I was rudely told that that was not an option for customers. Only after advising them that “they” had told me to ask for shipping, was I transferred.
In shipping they told me to file for an RA on their website and then ship the item back UPS ground (remember that took almost 2 weeks for the first delivery) at my own expense no less for exchange. When I pointed out that I had paid for 5 day delivery that had already been exceed and that it was their mistake for delivering half a product, they eventually agreed to pick up the shipping cost and arranged for pick up. Now, nearly two weeks later I haven’t received a replacement yet and when I send them an email about it I was told that I had not filed for an RA on their website and that they would not ship out the new item until I had done so.
So despite speaking to the alleged shipping manager in person, having verbal return authorization and having the item picked up (arranged through them), they couldn’t even manage to fully complete the exchange. Suffice to say, I did the RA and am hoping to get a complete and fully compatible product in maybe, oh - let’s say another two weeks!
Hopefully the darn thing will work with my car stereo as they claim!!!!!!!!!!!
I wouldn’t recommend this store to anybody.</description>

I called and emailed numerous times to check the fitment and was told every time it will fit. They are terrible.
Their database gives you part #&#039;s for cars.

But neither of the kits fit my car.
They sent me to the manufacturer and Metra said they didn&#039;t have parts to fit my car.

Installer.com&#039;s policy says it&#039;s &quot;our responsibilty&quot; to determine via pictures if it will work. So no returns...only exchanges...but they can&#039;t get the part.</description>

I talked with Eddie, the owner, and let&#039;s say he has the customer service skills of Dr. House.  He may know his stuff but his bedside manner sucks.

A few days later the shipping girl took the day off and it would then ship the following day.  I asked if they could overnight (dash of car ripped out...needed to finish) and the guy tells me that although UPS has already been there for the day, he will run down to UPS and ship to me so that I receive Friday.

Needless to say, he lied.  Did not go out until the next day and still have not received.  It will be another 5 days, due to holidays.

Interestingly, the same item is available at Circuit City.

Although they have everything under the sun, I would not recommend Installer.com to anyone that I liked.</description>
